- Locking the DTE at 57600 will not solve the problem.... I can lock DTE at 115200,
- and my modem will still connect at whatever speed it negotiates. This is called
- "speed buffering," and it allows the data to flow faster to the modem to keep it fed
- in the event that the data compression is effective.

- command to turn off v.32bis (14.4)
